Blue Nintendo DS was a true gamer! I bought my Electric Blue DS a year ago when I traded in my gameboy sp. And have to say I was really impressed with it. What makes any game system successfull wether it be, handheld , or home console is the game library. And I think the nintendo ds has a ...solid game library already and it's only growing larger. Although there are some ports most of the games for the nintendo ds are original. There are several games that you can only play on the ds. And I think that should appeal to anyone looking for a new gaming experience. Nintendo knows how to make handhelds. The nintendo ds has everything a portable gaming system should have great games, decent graphics, and most importantly short load times.
And you don't need a memory card. So it's not only inexpensive to own it's inexpensive to keep playing. although out of the box it can't play mp3's or video, you have to remember that's why you have an ipod.
